City Ballet of Los Angeles will present a repertoire of visionary delight to participating
subscribers who will be treated to fall, winter and spring performances. We are excited to
usher in new and innovative choreographers, set and lighting designers, as well as
costumers. Joining in the revitilization of downtown, CBLA will become a resident Company
of one of the newly renovated Broadway Theater's. The collaboration of creative artists will
produce a stimulating palette from the avant-garde to the classical.
City Ballet of Los Angeles will select and nurture the most promising dancers and reach out
to communities that would not otherwise be introduced to the Ballet. We will present a
company reflective of the many hues illuminating the world, and specifically, Los Angeles.
With the combined forces of talented students, supportive communities and patronage we
hope to portray the creative union of art and culture in Los Angeles.
